ABOUT DANIEL BROOKMAN

I developed a love of photography at an early age, learning on a polaroid camera at the age of six years old. This enthusiasm carried on throughout my childhood, and was always annoying everyone with my camera. At fourteen years old i won a photographic award, which certainly motivated me further and I took up photography at school. This is where i initially learned how to develop film in a dark room and to produce and retouch prints, well before digital was around.

At nineteen I started assisting professional photographers and did so for many years, gaining invaluable insights and experience in to the fashion and advertising world. In my early 20s I got the travel bug and moved to Australia for four years and then spent the last two decades traveling extensively through Asia, Australia, America and Europe.
